First of all, there are different easy hikes possible that start at our resort. You can explore the hilly scenery above CBG or walk along the beach for hours.
Together with you we plan individual tours for your stay, whether by car or boat. Tell us where you would like to go or what you wish to see and we can arrange it a day in advance. Ideas and descriptions of possible tours you will find in your welcome folder in your villa.
Our boat tours are particularly popular. You will start at 6am with our Jukung and go out to the sea for sunrise with most spectacular colours. Nyoman, who has been fisherman for many years, is very experienced to find dolphin groups. With a little luck, you will observe many, many dolphins playing around the boat sometimes for a long period of time.
If you want to listen to a Gamelan music group and want to watch traditional Balinese dances we can organize such an experience for you in the garden of Villa Ost. Our Balinese partners and employees are very intensively involved in the cultural and ritual activities of the village community. Nyoman – our service chef – is the head of the Gamelan group, Cilik’s daughter is a dancer, Pak Cilik himself is the head of the village ritual community.
If you – perhaps together with other guests – order a Babi Guling (the typical Balinese, mostly ceremonial feast), then you will experience an afternoon and an evening, which will surely be among the highlights of your stay.
